Entreveloper’s Starter Pack Springboot/Vue Edition
Creating a web application is complex and time consuming. Apart from the core functionality of your App, there are many additional features that might be required, depending on what you intend to achieve.
One set of common features for many web apps is the ability to register users, validate their email address, and allow them to login into your website. From time to time certain users might need to reset their password.
You might have functionality that is available only to registered users and other available to everyone. Access control to your resources is required in this case.
Your application may consist of a frontend and a separated backend, and you might want to have those two pieces of software only lightly coupled.
As your application grows you might be handling increasingly large amounts of data, and from the beginning you might have thought of creating a database powered application.
While many applications can encounter the above use cases, and while many of us, software developers, might have worked on creating applications which contain them, quite often we fail to extract the commonality of our relevant codebase into reusable components.
We do have software frameworks and software libraries at our disposal but often they do not provide very specific coverage of those use cases, and may bring with a lot of additional code.
The Entreveloper's Starter Pack Springboot/Vue Edition, which is now available via Gumroad, intends to address this by providing a relatively simple software package, with source code for a Springboot backend and a VueJs frontend, connected via REST calls.
The Starter Pack is provided together with documentation as a .pdf file. Apart from being an useful piece of software for anyone starting a new web application, it is likely to be useful for intermediate software developers interested in learning how to use Springboot and VuejS combined and individually. The explanations, both in the .pdf file and in code, are simple and short, just to the point.
This Starter Pack will be work in progress for a while, and bug fixes and updates will be provided to license holders as they become available.
Additional editions of the Starter Pack are now under development as well, which will provide other flavours, such as CodeIgniter in the backend, and Flutter in the frontend.
These other editions as well as additional components, will be provided at a discount to owners of any Starter Pack and to supporters of our effort via our membership options.
