Who we are
This website (entreveloper.com) and the EV Crosswords and EntGenAI WordPress plugins (“the Plugins”) are operated by Nexterday Investment and Technologies (Pty) Ltd (“Nexterday”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in South Africa, trading here as Entreveloper.

What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data we collect through entreveloper.com (browsing the site, contacting us, and any future account or purchase made through this site or via our payment processor). It does not cover data processed by the Plugins once installed on your own WordPress site — see “The Plugins and your own site” below.
What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to run this site and respond to you:
- Contact/enquiry data — if you email us or use a contact or waitlist form, we collect what you submit (e.g. name, email address, message content).
- Purchase data — if you buy a Pro license, checkout is handled entirely by our payment processor; we receive order/license information from them (e.g. email, license status) but never see or store your card details.
- Website usage data — as of this draft, entreveloper.com does not run visitor-tracking analytics or non-essential cookies. If we add analytics (e.g. for understanding site traffic), this policy will be updated first and a cookie-consent banner will be shown to EU/UK visitors before any non-essential cookie is set.
The Plugins and your own site
EV Crosswords and EntGenAI run on your own WordPress installation, not ours. Puzzle content, word lists, and play/completion analytics are stored in your own site’s database — we do not receive or store this data. When you use AI generation features, your word-list prompts are sent directly from your site to the AI provider you configure (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or your own Ollama instance) using your own API key; we are not a party to that exchange and do not see its content.
Why we process your data (legal basis)
- To respond to enquiries and provide support — legitimate interest / performance of a contract.
- To process a purchase and issue a license — performance of a contract (largely carried out by our payment processor).
- Where you’ve given it — consent (e.g. subscribing to a mailing list).
Who we share data with
- Payment processor — payment processing, licensing, and subscription management for any paid product. See their own privacy policy for details on how they handle privacy.
- Hosting and email infrastructure providers — data runs through our Hosting provider strictly to run this website and send transactional email.
We do not sell personal data, and do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.
International data transfers
Nexterday is based in South Africa, operates under South African law, but we do our best to comply with well known laws of other locations where our users or potential users could be based:
- If you submit information directly to us — for example through a contact form on this site, or directly to us by email — you are disclosing that data to us directly, not through an intermediary. This isn’t a “restricted transfer” in the technical sense, but other obligations (lawful basis, your rights, security, this policy) still apply to that data.
- If you purchase a license — When you buy, you disclose your payment and contact details directly to our payment processor. Our payment processor then shares your order and license details with us (Nexterday company, South Africa) so we can activate your license and provide support.
Nothing about how the Plugins work once installed involves this kind of transfer — as explained above, puzzle data, reader activity, and AI-generation requests all stay on your own WordPress site and never reach our servers.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward for our records, and purchase/license data for as long as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; restrict or object to processing; request a portable copy of your data; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Cookies
This site runs on WordPress together with our EV Crosswords plugin. On any page where that plugin’s Pro features (reader streaks, leaderboards, and puzzle-retention analytics) show a crossword, word search, or reader leaderboard, it sets one first-party cookie, described below – it is not set on pages without one of those, and not set at all if these Pro features aren’t active. Aside from this, we do not currently set any analytics or marketing cookies.

This cookie is not shared with any third party and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Clearing or blocking it simply resets your streak – it does not otherwise limit what you can do on this site. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will present a consent banner to visitors before any such cookie is set, and update this section to list exactly what’s used.
Children’s privacy
This site and the Plugins are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page when our data practices change and update the “last updated” date above. For material changes, we’ll provide a more prominent notice where appropriate.
