Do I need an AI provider to use this?
No — manual word list creation works fully without one. AI generation is optional, and works with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or a self-hosted Ollama instance.
What does the EntGenAI companion plugin do?
It’s a free plugin that connects EV Crosswords to your chosen AI provider. AI features are optional, but the plugin currently requires EntGenAI to be installed and active.
Can I pay monthly instead of yearly?
Yes — every Pro plan will be available billed monthly or annually. Paying annually saves you about two months’ cost compared to paying monthly.
